PLATESCOPE

Configuration Mode

Configuration mode is used to adjust and view the instrument’s settings. Certain icons display the

current settings. Selecting the icon takes you to a different screen to change the setting. You

should set the configuration before using the instrument for the first time. However, you can go

back and change these settings at any time.

Accessing Configuration Mode

1. From the Main screen, use the Navigation Ring to move the highlight focus to the

Configuration icon.

2. Press the Select button.

Configuration Options

Each configuration option will be explained in greater detail on the following pages.

Title Bar

The title bar displays the configuration icon (current mode), USB icon (if instrument is connected

to computer), battery gauge, and Exit icon. The title bar is the same on all the configuration

screens.

Selecting the Exit icon with the Navigation Ring, and pressing the Select button returns the

display back to the previous screen.
